ePortfolio

Introduction

The ePortfolio is designed to help trainees draw together the information that will help them on the path to becoming a good doctor. With the assistance of their educational supervisor, it will help them to plan their skills development and allow them to demonstrate the attainment of the attitudes, skills and knowledge that they need to complete the Foundation Programme.

The ePortfolio is based on the Foundation Programme Curriculum, published by the UK Foundation Programme Office (UKFPO):

Trainees and supervisors should read this Curriculum carefully as it will help them to understand the areas that need to be covered during the Foundation Programme and the standards that will be expected of trainees. The UKFPO have also published a Curriculum Resource document, which aims to assist foundation doctors and their trainers in understanding and meeting the requirements of the  Foundation Programme Curriculum. Queries and problem-solving

Queries regarding ePortfolio should initially be directed to local foundation programme administrators. If local foundation programme administrators are unable to resolve an issue they will escalate it to the South Thames Foundation School.
