Important Information for Trainees

As you may be aware in recent months the Health Education England teams managing London and Kent Surrey and Sussex have undergone a period of integration and now work under one office managing London and South East (LaSE)

 As part of the integration we have been identifying ways in which to improve both the way that we interact with our trainees and ways to offer more effective customer service levels.

 We are pleased to announce that from Friday 5th January 2018 we will be moving to a new PGMDE Support Portal. This will support all query management across London and Kent Surrey and Sussex and will replace the current email addresses.

 Some of the benefits to this portal will be

It will enable you to self-service through a series of FAQs enabling you to access the answers to some of your questions immediately.

  • We will be able to categorise your queries in order to prioritise their urgency.
  • It will also enable us to capture all of the information that we may need in order to hopefully answer your query first time without the need to request further information.

 We plan to email you weekly up until our launch date to remind and update you of the changes coming in to effect as once we move over to the new system no emails will be responded to from our specialty inboxes.

  Important information regarding your Revalidation

  Ahead of this Revalidation queries have already been moved over to the Support Portal and this this is now live for your queries. You will no longer receive a response from our revalidation inbox mailbox. If you wish to contact us with regards to your revalidation then please visit the portal at https://lasepgmdesupport.hee.nhs.uk/support/home. Here you will find some helpful FAQs that may answer your question.

 Some of you may already be familiar with the portal as we have been trialling this with Recruitment, Event booking and IDT.

 For those of you that are not we welcome you to visit the portal to familiarise yourself with it. Please be aware that FAQs for Foundation and Specialty are not currently live on the system.
